The Eternaut
The Eternaut (2025) is a gripping Argentine sci-fi thriller series streaming on Netflix, adapted from the classic 1957 graphic novel El Eternauta by Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López. Directed by Bruno Stagnaro, the six-episode series stars Ricardo Darín as Juan Salvo, a man thrust into a desperate fight for survival when a mysterious, toxic snowfall devastates Buenos Aires, killing millions instantly.
As Salvo and a small group of survivors navigate the frozen ruins of their city, they uncover that the deadly snow is merely the first wave of an alien invasion. Facing insect-like creatures, mind-controlled humans, and otherworldly forces, the group must band together to resist an invisible threat from another world.
